Psychotherapy is a technique used to treat and manage mental illness and emotional problems. It focusses on understanding where imbalances and problems stem from deep within the subconscious, and it is through this understanding that clients are able to gain insight into how to overcome their issues. In this way, clients are able to overcome worries and bothersome habits and focus on controlling the symptom rather than the cause.

Psychotherapy can be carried out in a number of different ways and settings – from group music or art sessions to one-to-one talking sessions, the method completely depends on the client and the desired outcome.

All sessions are held in confidence, in a safe, comfortable environment at the Kingsley Health & Beauty Solarium and are delivered at your own pace. I impose no maximum number of sessions and work with and support you until you feel you are ready to end our therapeutic relationship.
